Who are the Friends of Great Denham?
The Friends of Great Denham PTA was formed in early 2013 and is an integral part of school life. We support the school in building memorable and exciting moments into school life to enrich students’ lives.
We believe in creating a welcoming community for parents and carers to engage more actively with the school – whether that’s through participating in any of our events or fundraising activities, or volunteering your time as part of the committee. All families are welcome to join whilst they have a child attending the school - being actively involved is fun, challenging and extremely rewarding.
The Friends of Great Denham is extremely conscious of the ethos and diversity of our school, and we try very hard when organising and planning events to respect this by making all our events fun and accessible for all.

As a registered charity the Friends of Great Denham has a leadership team who are elected at our AGM to serve as administrators and take the lead in planning, promoting, and executing all we do.

What is the Friends of Great Denham webshop?
We created this site to allow parents and carers to support our fundraising initiatives without the need to handle cash as well as to make our secondhand uniforms more accessible to the broader school community.
Our secondhand uniform shop is available all year round, and we also sell items for some of our other activities such as such as Father's Day Doughnuts or Mother's Day Daffodils, during the relevant periods.
PLEASE NOTE: All products listed on this store are intended ONLY for purchase by parents and carers of students at Great Denham Primary School. It is not intended as a site of general sale.
We need your help!
We rely on volunteers from the school’s community of parents, staff and friends. The committee itself is not a large team, and while we have some FABULOUS regular members, we could always use more volunteers!
There are lots of ways you can help and support your child at school through the Friends of Great Denham. It doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, or even if you can’t come into school. Whether you help one afternoon at a specific event, drop off some baked goods for our monthly Tuck Shop, or design up some posters – we appreciate that everyone will have different ways of supporting our goals!
We really couldn’t achieve what we do without volunteers, and we always welcome new ideas and whatever help people can offer!
